Master of Theology

The Oahu Theological Seminary also offers a Master of Theology degree for students who want to sharpen their understanding of a specific topic through graduate level research within a given theological discipline (20 credits). This degree program is available for those who have (a) already completed a M.Div. degree, (b) have secured a faculty member (or another qualified individual) as a supervisor, and (c) have a general thesis topic already in mind. After completing the required research and theological coursework, the student will write a thesis of approximately 40,000 words and will be required to defend it.
