Master of Divinity

The OTS Master of Divinity program was designed to complement and advance the OTS Master of Arts in Ecclesial Theology degree by going further into the biblical languages, pastoral disciplines, and ecclesial theology. Altogether, the M.A. and M.Div. can be completed in four years.

Both M.A. and M.Div. students have the option to designate a concentration in counseling, church planting, or youth and family ministry. In order to complete a concentration, students must devote all Applied Ministry courses, free electives, the applied theology capstone, and, for M.Div. students, the thesis capstone to the ministry concentration. For the M.A., the concentration amounts to nine credit hours and the M.Div. provides and additional nine credits in a concentration.
